Re: Photo scavenger hunt
Wait.. I think its a cute idea but instead off the guests dancing and having fun they will be on scavenger hunts for THAT many things?

Re: Photo scavenger hunt
LOL
No..not that many things. One each camera I am going to put about 5 or 6 different pictures for them to take. It is really just a nice ice breakers for tables and also it is to try and prevent you getting the same pictures on each table camera. People tend to take the same pictures these cameras from what I hear. Cake cutting, first dance, father/daughter dance, etc. this way you can try to get them to capture different things!!

Re: Photo scavenger hunt
Richsbride did this, and I am not decided on how I will do mine She listed the concept on a folded card, like a tent, and placed the card beside the camera. You might find it in a search with her name
I may toy small preprinted cards to the camera - if there is somewhere to tie the card too

Here's whart Richsbride posted to me in a forum
Re: scavenger hunt
Sure, we used tent cards & we about 8 things for each table. My MOH forgot to collect the tent cards at the end so I'm not sure who got the most but people tried! I know it gives them something to do! I should have had someone go our to each table & coach them a bit-2 cameras were unused, but I'm thrilled with what I got!

Re: Photo scavenger hunt
I did it. I had such a hard time deciding how to attach the sayings. There are many ways you can attach them but none seemed to work for me. Many people told me to make laminated cards and poke a hole in the cardboard and attach with ribbon. I couldn't do that because I used Kodak cameras and they weren't in the heavy cardboard. Other people suggested using table tents or labels.
I would up buying these small bags (the color of my BM dresses) and attaching them to the bag with pretty ribbon.
Not all tables did the scavenger hunt but those that did gave me some funny and unique pictures. I have the staff in the kitchen, men in the ladies room, woman in the mens room (my mom and aunt posed for this one-too funny), most pregnant guest, tattoo, the photographer, centerpiece pictures, guest under the table (hysterical), groom's parents kissing, brides parents kissing. I put about six items on each camera and on every camera I put picture of everyone at the table (so I new used the camera), 4 nice things and one funny thing. Also put a message on how to use the flash.
So many people did not use the flash and missed great shots. You may want to include something about not to take things from too far away. All of those shots stink esp with the darkness of the hall! Close up pictures came much better.

Re: Photo scavenger hunt
PS I did get a ton of pictures of cutting the cake, the garter and the parent dances but the unique shots made my table cameras worth it. Also, we saw lots of things going on in teh backgrounds that we missed!
A long time ago people posted poems or sayings they used. I have them saved at home (I think). Tell me if you want them and I can post them tonight.

Table Cameras Poem: We have planned a little fun for you, And seeing the results will be fun, too! Who was the messiest when eating the cake? Try to catch somebody on a smoking break! How about a picture of a couple that’s kissing Now find somebody else whose shoes seem to be missing. Take a picture of Cindy smiling at her groom As he talks to someone across the room. Pass the camera around so everyone has fun And leave it on the table when the evening is done. Thank you for helping us to obtain The pictures that will help the memories remain. ______________________________________________ Poem: We have planned a little fun for you, And seeing the results will be fun, too! Take a picture of someone giving the couple some cash. How about a picture of someone acting like a ass. Find someone who can dance and someone who cant How about a picture of your uncle or aunt. Try to catch someone in middle of a sneeze, Get the someone who talks with ease. Take a picture of someone under the most stress. Then get one the worsted dressed. Pass the camera around so everyone has fun And leave it on the table when the evening is done. Thank you for helping us to obtain The pictures that will help the memories remain.
We have planned a little fun for you, And seeing the results will be fun, too! .Snap a picture of the family’s of the groom and bride, Is there anyone trying to hide? All though the grooms car my not be a Beenz, Take a picture of those decorating it, so he can get revenge. Find someone who’s short and someone who’s tall, Don’t forget to get the one who’s prettiest of them all. Take a photo of the wedding cake, And whose hair might be fake???? Pass the camera around so everyone has fun And leave it on the table when the evening is done. Thank you for helping us to obtain The pictures that will help the memories remain.
We have planned a little fun for you, And seeing the results will be fun, too! Take a picture of the best man and groom, See if you can find anyone leaving the room. Is there anyone there with bare feet? Find someone Really ready to eat. Take a picture of the wedding toast, Is there anyone really to roast? Pass the camera around so everyone has fun And leave it on the table when the evening is done. Thank you for helping us to obtain The pictures that will help the memories remain _____________________________________

Re: Photo scavenger hunt
We are doing those plus.. this could get interesting.. any two people at your table kissing.. your table doing something fun or silly.. and take a pic of the table next to yours doing something fun or silly. We hope this will get more guests to interact.

I wish I could show you some of my pictures but I feel bad posting some people may get embarrassed if they see themselves on the internet. I am actually scanning them right now.

Re: Photo scavenger hunt
I would also advise putting something regarding leaving them on the table. I went home with only 15 or 17 and I did include that on my note. I tracked the 2 down..wound up bmy 2 SIL's went home with them.
