Howdy brides! I have a 2.5 hours gap between my ceremony end and reception arrival time in May, and was wondering if anyone had recommendations or suggestions of where to take photos in the East End area? It's Memorial Day Weekend Saturday so don't want to be driving around too far in traffic, but if you know of any spots (indoor or outdoor) in the near vicinity of Wading River (20 miles or less?) please let me know!
Thanks so much!!!

Re: photo spots near East End?
I know some people go to Wading River Beach since that is near the East Wind. Wildwood State Park is there too but you have to walk up a hill to get back from the beach.
HTH!!

I've heard of the beach, although I'm not crazy about the idea of getting all full of sand for pictures. I will check out the park though, maybe it will be like our daily exercise to walk up the hill.
Thanks for the response! If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know, thanks so much!!!

We took pictures out at the beach in Wading river, I had no problem with any sand. We got some beautiful shots at sunset.

Do you need a parking permit there?

Re: photo spots near East End?
If you take the north route through Wading River (Truck 25 aka Route 48), and continue east, it will pass by a ton of wineries. Lots of them have really awesome grounds for pics. I would suggest doing a quick google to find some and then checking into whether or not there's a site fee for photos.
