Photo, Video and DJ's

Hey ladies....I'm beginning to compile a list of photographers, videographers and DJ's. I found a bunch on weddingvendors.com but I haven't heard of many of them. If it's not too much trouble, let me know who you have found that is good. I would appreciate any info at this point. Thanks in advance

We haven't looked at DJ's yet but we like VIP for photography, and we are in a toss up over Wild Rose and Platinum for video.

Re: Photo, Video and DJ's

I am another Mark Kauffman bride. And another Wild Rose bride (there are lots of us on this board).
I hired a band so I cannot help with the DJ stuff.
What is your photographer and video budget? That will help us give you some suggestions. Also, what style are you looking for?

Re: Photo, Video and DJ's

Here's who I am using:

Photography - Cassarino Studios (516)877-2700
Videography - Bellarino Productions (516)781-7710

I am not using a DJ, but my friend is using Glen from Get In Tune.

Also Duval Photographers and Videographers in Wantagh is also good! (516)783-0420

Good Luck!

Re: Photo, Video and DJ's

I'm using Imagine Studios for both photography and video. A few brides on this site have used them and the proofs they posted were beautiful.
I'm having a band, so I don't have any recomendations for a DJ.

Re: Photo, Video and DJ's

We are using Photos by Verdi - they are so awesome and worked with us on fitting what we wanted into our budget. We just got our engagement pics done! They recommended Wild Rose Video and we loved them too! I cannot wait to have them at our wedding. It's great because they do so many weddings together that they stay out of each other's way and yet get the best coverage!

Re: Photo, Video and DJ's

I second music by michael - I used him Oct. 12 of this year - do a search to read my review.
I did not like my photographer at all, and the video was from the same company, so no recommendations there....but shamma posted some absolutely beautiful pics, I don't know who she used though. good luck!
