Is anyone doing photobooths or has been to a wedding that had one? I was just watching Bridezilla (Kristen and Tim) and they had a photobooth. It seemed like a lot of fun and i know that my guests would LOVE it. I was just wondering how much it would cost for a couple of hours? TIA

Re: PHOTOBOOTHS?
I've seen them as low as +/- $800 and go to $2000+. FYI Here are some places I've found:

FM MrsHtobe. She has issues with a photobooth company. She did research and has prices.

Re: PHOTOBOOTHS?
The wedding I went to on friday night had one. I think they used nycphotobooth though I'd have to check the pic at home to see what the companies name is. I believe they paid around $2K. You took 6 pictures. 3 of them went into a book for the couple - like a guest book and you kept the other 3 as your favor. I think a lot of people like it. Just felt like it could have been better organized. Apparently, you could sign the book but we didn't cuz it wasn't made clear. Otherwise, I think they were a good company to use.
if that isn't the company, I will post later but I'm pretty sure it is.

Re: PHOTOBOOTHS?
Check out FM entertainment. They are the DJs I booked with. They are getting a photo booth.
They said they are looking at renting out the booth to people who are not using them as a DJ. The cost would be $1500. For that you would get a person on-site to coordinate and make the scrapbook. That is what most places charge $2000 for, and here you can get it for $1500 (it's 1200 if you use them as your DJ but I'm sure you have one booked)

it really is kinda like a carnival.... we never made it into the photo booth at the last wedding we went to that had one... the bridal party and friends hogged it all night, there was always a line for it and people were not on the dance floor
so FH said no way

I never thought of that.... I'm definately rethinking that. I don't want photo hogs. And I don't want people waiting in line, I want them dancing!

i think its an awesome idea. some people do not like to dance and some times you are sweaty from dancing.. its fun and creates memories for a lifetime
