Photocube girls....

Photocube girls....

I feel that I should take advantage of FH's boredom until he waits for the game tonight & Sopranos...and he seems interested in the photocube thing. Only thing is, we don't have our epics yet.

Did any of you put together the card box before you put the pics in? FH seems to think we can....but I'm not so sure. We might not even use the backing....the mattes we're using aren't allowing the backs to stay closed for some reason so we'll probably just have the mattes hold the pics in. (or is it mats? HAHA)

TIA!

Re: Photocube girls....

That's so funny, I just took out my frames and started playing around with them because I got my L-brackets yesterday at Home Depot.

I did get my epics, as you know, BUT I have yet to order my 8x10 prints of them So I have to do that.

I was going to put two sides together from now so that once I get the pics I can put them in and then finish assembly, but I realized that the screws that came with the brackets are too long So now I have to go BACK to Home Depot and get smaller screws to mount the Lbrackets. Oh well.

I probably wouldn't recommend putting the entire thing together before you have the pics in there, but that's just cuz I think there might be issues getting them in.

I kinda agree with ya! I'm just worried I'll never find a bored, ready to work FH again!

Hmm that is a good idea- maybe make it halfway...hmmmm

Thanks!!

ETA: Thanks for making me check my screws! I have to buy new ones now too! Oh well, guess it wasn't meant to happen today. At least FH is showing interest in the project though!

By the way I got the lazy susan at Ikea- it's a biggie, 15 inches. But way cheaper than anywhere else!

Ah so the screws are just too dang long - isn't it annoying??? lol Oh well, I was excited to work on mine today too!

YAY for the Ikea lazy susan! I'm sure it's the same one I got... I need to buy some dark stain so that I can stain it closer to the frames' color (a dark brown).

PS: I think the photocube would work REALLY well horizontally instead of vertically (it would take up more room on the lazy susan).... I already decided to do vertical pics though, so that I can use more of my Epics, but just in case you haven't decided on the orientation yet, consider horizontal.
