photog advice PLEASEEE

photog advice PLEASEEE

2 months ago, I met with a photog that FH & I really liked. Their photos are great, they have great reviews on this site & others, the package is right within our budget, but for some reason I’m a little hesitant. The person we met with would not be our photog – he was nice, but idk, I’m worried that I won’t receive much “personal” attention esp when putting our albums together
So, that left me feeling like maybe we should keep looking. I’ve been searching high and low for photogs – even from other parts of the country and thinking that I could pay for them to travel to LI (never contacted them for pricing tho) – most of the ones I liked are more $$, but there is one that’s in the same price range & I’m considering meeting with, but I read some mixed reviews where this photog missed some impt shots. I’m sure it happens to all photogs at some point, but I read it in more than 1 review and I’d be heartbroken if I was flipping thru my proofs and realized that we never got an impt pic of FH with his dad or something like that so I’m not sure it’s a risk I’m willing to take.
I feel like there aren’t many good photogs (with good packages) in our budget and I don’t want to go over our budget. Should I just meet with photog #2 and see how it goes? Or just book photog #1? I know I have plenty of time, but I also feel like I’ve been agonizing over this decision for sooo long. It gets really annoying living 2.5 hours away when you can’t meet with vendors whenever you feel like urghhh I need some advice please!!
Thanks ladies!

Don't know what your price range is but I've meet with a lot of photographers and finally booked with Thomas Paul..FH & I felt we really clicked with him

But as for your question..I would not go with someone that I have doubts about..to me it is not worth the risk..you could always give them a detailed must take list that might help

i say you HAVE to go with your gut...if you were hesitant, it was for a reason!

ITA...also, if you really like the first photog a lot but have some concerns, maybe you can make another appointment with them to help alleviate your concerns.
