Photog Rant (kind of long)

We went to ADA photography about a month ago and I loved their pictures. They gave us so much for the money, it seemed like we couldn't beat the deal. Plus they are recommened by and have been servicing all the major halls for 15 years and have great reviews on this site.

So we drove all the way out to woodbury with $1500 cash to put the downpayment. But we didnt' get to see a video the first time we were there. She showed us the video, and it was terrible. You couldn' t even see the people's faces. I was so disappointed, I thought I would be done with video/photog. To make matters worse, the sales person just kept making excuses, saying the tv was bad, not the video and that 'Our video won't look like that'. She even called the owner and he said it was a high def TV and he didn't buy the right wires so the video was fuzzy.

Not professional at all, so we don't want to deal with them. Just a warning to you all.

Any photog/video recommendations? Let me know because now I feel like I am at square 1 !

That s*cks! We went with Thomas Paul - but just for photography. His work is amazing! He does video too, but we already had a videographer. I would def give him a call.

I am sorry that happened to you. I actually booked w/ ADA and when they showed me the video, it was great. I actually have seen like 4 of their videos and they were all really good, maybe it was a bad tape or maybe there really was something wrong with their t.v. Like you said, they are a very reputable company that has been around for many years, I am sure that would not be possible if their videos looked like crap. Good luck in finding someone you are comfortable with

Wow I hear such great things about ADA!

I sure u will have no problem finding anyone else though..I am using velvet for photog and rambling rose for video..they both are amazing...let me know if u want my package info :)
