The $3000 for the photographer is a bit much but that's only because I paid a lil more than that for video and photography. I got almost the same thing in your photo package and mine was cheaper.

That is a bit much,
I'm getting bigger albums,more pics and 350 thank you cards and 3 DVDs and paying 5150. For a package like yours you can get that for about $4000 maybe even less depending on who you go to.

My package was $3500.
It included the Photographer and his lighting assistant and Video.
We are getting:
1 flush album with 36 photos 2 5x7 parent albums with 12 photos 1 8x10 enlargement all digital special effects 75 Thank you cards with photos All proofs
Video - 2 VHS and 1 DVD Ceremony Reception Baby Pictures Honeymoon Special effects

It depends on the photographer.
But I'd say you're getting a great deal price-wise.
I didn't have a package and I'm - in the end - paying what you were quoted at for photog and video, for just photography. Maybe more...haven't calculated it all yet.

I think thats an average price for video and a low price for photographer. How is their quality? How many photographers will you have?

Not necessarily. I think mine was pretty resonable and and the quality of my photos was fantastic. I think a lot depends on how big of a name these guys have. The more popular they are, the more demand for them then they can charge whatever they want. My Photographer used to work for one of them then started his own business.

sounds a bit high for what you are getting, we are paying around that and are getting more, it all depends on what you are looking for, i knew before i got engaged i wanted my photographer b/c of friends albums i've seen, i just love their work, i love pics and video so i didn't mind spending like 5-6k, but i would look around if i were you, b/c i think you could get more for your$$$$

IMO, that's a bit much for the photos, for what they are offering you.
I'm getting 48 photo bridal album 20 picture parent albums 16x20 pic 11x14 engagement pic 2 8x10 pics 100 thank yous all proofs all negatives PLUS a second photojournalistic photographer
all for $3,245
BUT, what it all boils down to is if you really love the style and personality of the photographer.
