Okay, I came up with a list of about 14 photographers, thanks to all of your suggestions. Now I need to narrow down this list. Ultimately it will be FH's decision because he is into photography, but I want to give him somewhere to start. I would really like to keep it affordable also. Here's the list: Velvet,Thomas Paul, Duet, 12th Night, Infinite Images,Leli, Blue Daisy, Patken, **************, ADA, Imagine Studios, Proline Studios, Déjà vu, Paul Marino. What do you think? Any input is appreciated.

Re: photographer
I just looked through all the papers I have received in the mail and at shows from photographers and none of them are ones that I have seen mentioned on here...interesting...

Re: photographer
I just booked with patken and they were relatively reasonable. I am paying 5200 for photography and videography. Two of my friends used Patken and their pictures are beautiful. I saw ADA at a bridal expo and their prices were pretty expensive.

Re: photographer
I just went to Proline Studios on Saturday & they were extremely nice but unfortunately a little pricer then other photographers. My friend just booked 12th Night she liked them very much & it will cost for total about 5500.00 Im looking at booking DuVal Photgraphy & Video in Wantagh & they quoted me 5300.00 for everything. I saw their albums & video (a friend of ours used them last Sept) and it all looked beautiful. Good Luck!

Re: photographer
Funny just got an email & phone call from Eddie at ProLine Studios. He is now working out a price that may work a little better for us. Since I was brave enough to tell him exactly what the difference in pricing is from his place to DuVal. I broke it down for him exactly as read on my quote from DuVal. Lets see what happens. Hopefully it is within the same price as I really truly liked their work. But if you speak up you never know what may happen.

Re: photographer
I am booked with Leli...he is AMAZING! Very low key...really listens to what you want (some of the photogs on your list I found don't listen) and I was just so comfy with him.
Good luck!

Re: photographer
I second Leli! We love Gary! His albums are beautiful and he really does make you feel so relaxed and comfortable. We did our E-pics already and he was great to work with!
Good luck with your planning!

We booked Duet, their packages were very reasonable. I first looked at some of the bride’s albums that were posted on this website. Then when we met with them and saw more of their work we booked them. They do a really nice job!

My sister used ADA and I thought their prices were reasoanble, their album was great and you get a lot for your money. Their prices are available online. Their $6300 package includes so much!
I am looking around for photogs too but they are definetely an option!

Re: photographer
I met with Deja-Vu. They took nice pics and thier videos were very nice however, although Im on a budget, the package they offered me was the bare minimum, and that was still $4,000. I also did not like that he was REALLY trying to convince me to take pics before hand. I don't want to see my FH before hand and we are both ok with missing the cocktail hour. He kept mentioning what would be better for the photographer. I didn't like that. So we didn't book with them because we wanted more for our money.
Thats just my opinion. Please check them out for yourself and see. Don't let my experience deter your from checking them out.
