How far in advance did everyone book the photographer?

I booked it this passed Jan for my March 2010 wedding.

Over a year in advance... We even too our epics and I have over a year to the wedding...

We booked ours in April. We also have to do epics but more importantly i wanted to get 09 pricing

We booked ours about a month ago so 17 months before the wedding!! We also only looked at one and new he was it (they did my sisters and cousins wedding and LOVED them).

I think we booked them a month after we got engaged ... so ... about 17 months before the wedding.

I booked my photographer in April of this year but when I booked them I was originally getting married 10-24-09 now I pushed it back to 6-12-10 but It's best to book your photographer early because alot of the good one's book up fast esp. if you want a popular one like Duet.
