I am still looking for a photographer. I am at a loss! I have seen two so far - Rick and Co, and Renaissance. I like both of them, but I preferred Renaissance's style of individualizing the pictures towards the bride instead of having the "same old same old". I'd like to know if any of you have photographers that you've seen that have this same attitude - whatever the bride wants, customized to her taste etc., but within a budget of 2,000 - 3,000. I also liked the idea of an engagement sitting....? Can you help?

I'm also getting married at Milleridge and wanted to know how you went about ordering your cake. Can you have any combination of cake/filling that you want or do they have a set list? Also, when did you order your cake?

Thanks for your help. (And best of luck on your wedding day!! I'm sure it will be spectacular!)

Hi Jennifer: I hired Rick & Co. He is extremeley nice and he does black & whites and when I asked for certain shots, he said to make a list. He is very flexible and I was very comfortable with him. His packages are great. There is another bride on here that hired him as well.

Hi! I hired Rick also. I too, felt very comfortable with him and he is very accommodating.I did a list as well & he was ok with it (I have heard some photographers dont appreciate that, not sure why). Im getting married next week, so I will post updates if anyone is interested.

Some places it didn't matter that it was a weekday, make some calls you can find deals.

I will take your email address home with me and email you from there. I dont remember prices off the top of my head. I think photo was $3000 and video was $1300 but the packages were huge!!! They also have scaled down packages too. I just loved their style of photography not posed but not to candid. Ill email you the info later on tonight. Take care!! Concetta

There are Senior Citizens homes being built on the property west of Fox Hollow. The property is owned by the same company that owns the Fairhaven Apartments. They have owned the property for over 10 years. Their decision to build, although not my favorite, is their decision. As everyone knows, within 10-15 years almost 50% of the population will be over 50 years old, thus, there is a huge demand for such complexes. That is why the property owner is building the site. As a result of this construction, we have met with our neighbors and prepared a plan to plant more than 2 dozen 16 foot trees to buffer our garden from the adjacent property as well as putting curtains up in our ballroom that will block the view of the new site while giving our guests full view of our gardens.
