Hey Ladies....my head is going to explode. I cannot decide if I need 2 photographers [one at my house and one at his] or just one photographer. What is everyone doing and what companies have you booked? Thanks

Re: Photographer
I haven't booked yet.
So far it's a toss up between the following:
Duet Be Creative Laura Ryan
As far as what I am looking to do, I would like at least a 10 hour shooting time with 2 photographers (I would like one at his house and one at mine). IMO, you are going to want that second photographer. I worked briefly as a wedding photographer years ago and I was a second shooter and i was able to capture a lot of the candid shots that the main photographer isn't getting while he is taking the formal pics. I also always think it's unfair that no one (professional-wise) is there taking pics of the groom getting ready. His getting ready process is just as exciting to capture as the bride's IMO.

Re: Photographer
We had one photographer. We had debated about whether we needed one or two, but when we met with our photographer, we were so confident in his work that we booked him. One of DH's friends is very into photography, so he took pictures of the guys getting ready while the photographer was with me.
We're thrilled with our pictures.
There are definitely pros and cons to each approach. I think it comes down to which photographer or team you and FH feel most comfortable with.

Re: Photographer
We are having one photographer and one videographer. We are going with Ada. The good thing is that since we have an apartment in my fiance's parents house - that I will be getting ready in the apartment and he can get ready upstairs and the photographer can be there for both!! YAY!

Re: Photographer
For us, it's going to depend on where FH is getting ready (still undecided)...he may just be with his dad and best man, not with the other four guys in the bridal party, or step dad...so if that's the case, that they aren't all together, we are going to skip the 2nd photog being with FH. Both would just be with me.
My sister had 2, but they both stayed with her from the morning also due to none of her guys being together that morning - now that I think of it, I don't think any of us missed having pics of the guys 'getting ready'.....I mean, it takes them all of 30 minutes to roll out of bed, shower, and put a tux on. LOL

Re: Photographer
I'm confident in my photographer after seeing her shoot a few weddings I am not worried about having 2. Plus we're having the zap shots done by the DJ too so that will be like at least 300 more pics. If you want to have them just for FH getting ready or whatever but I don't feel the need to have more than 1 JMO.
