Does anyone have any advice on photographers? I am on a tight budget, and not sure what expect! Thanks!

Ask people who THEY like and why they liked the photog.

Decide WHAT you want to spend your money on in the wedding. Fiance and I decided that photog was the most important thing and what we are spending the most on (beside the hall).

1. Go to a lot of bridal shows. They have all sorts of specials during those shows.

2. Ask the women on here who they used and why they loved them.

3. Once you have an idea of who does what kind of work, then you can see who you like and how much they are.

4. From there you can decide on $$. Dont be afraid to ask for discounts.

I am really into photojournalistic......love for my wedding to be unique! Thomas Paul was actually my first pick but he is not available.

Check out Amanda Picone Photography!!! She will be the photographer for the wedding of the year. She is awesome.

We are also using Amanda Picone. She did a phenomenal job with our engagement pics and will be doing our wedding in a few months. I HIGHLY recommend her.

I see you are booked @ CLM - I know their house photographers are Thomas Paul, Lavender Bridal, Patken & Velvet Studio. I would try to meet w/ all 4 of those 1st - see their work & mention that you are getting married at CLM - we used Patken & got a discount b/c they are a house photographer for CLM - I know we also met w/ Lavender & Velvet & they were also willing to give a discount based on that fact as well. Your best bet at this point might be to book all house vendors of CLM - which is what we did for photo, video, limo & got very good deals.

We booked Amanda Picone for our wedding. She's the best ! Her pictures speak for itself !
She did our engagement pics, my boudoir & my wedding. Love her ! Price was great ! She is also the photographer for the wedding of the year !

I highly recommend Lovemorephoto. Great price too. There are a few e-pics and wedding pics in my album. Arek is amazing and super sweet. FM me if you have any questions.
