Photographer...

Besides VIP, does anyone know a photographer that uses a photojournalistic approach, uses 2 photographers and is reasonably priced??

vivid video and photo is reasonably priced and is $300 for a second photographer.. they had nice work..

We would LIKE to spend no more than $2500, however if we really like them, we'd spare 2 or 300 more...

We don't really care for parent albums.

We are just about ready to sign a contract with Jonathan Hubschman - another bride on this site who is getting married next weekend (I think) is using him (that's how I found him). He is an actual documentarian - he showed us photos of riots in S. America as well as photos (not of weddings) that have been published in some well-known magazines. He also does great wedding pics - he showed us a whole set of proofs from a wedding he had just shot on LI, not just the highlights or a books of highlights from all his weddings. He will work with you to put together a package, although it's usually just him (in our case he's bringing an assistant). He shoots film and gives you your negatives. He is also incredibly nice. Part of the reason we really like him is because he is a true photojournalist/documentarian. His website is www.makarion.com

Check out Duet Wedding Studio. Their packages start at $2800 for 2 photographers and a videographer. The video is amazingly edited also, not just a unedited version. They take really great pics. Not too long ago I posted some of my casual day engagement photos on here. If you don't want video I am sure it will be less. www.duetwedding.com is the website.
