hi,

Trying to decide on photographer! Went to meet with jay lim, who does beautiful work but I want to price around just in case! Was thinking lighthouse. Does anyone have pricing info for them? Any thoughts on one over the other?

I'm booked with Lighthouse! You have FM with my quotes.

I met with both Lighthouse and Jay Lim. Honestly, at Jay Lim, we had the worst customer service experience. The 'salesperson' was a kid younger than us, probably 21, didn't know anything about anything. Every question we asked, he had to go ask someone the answer (and they weren't exactly difficult questions). For that reason, we really didn't consider them beyond that. Plus the fact that we would have had to pay extra to have Jay be the photographer on the day. The other photographers do good work, but I feel like all the big money shots are from the owner. At lighthouse we had an amazing experience. Monica showed us a bunch of albums and listened to what we had to say about each, then pulled an album and said 'this is you guys' and it WAS. It was exactly the style of photography and album we were looking for. And we have the owner, Florio as our photographer, without paying extra.

Jay Lim quoted us the MOST for the most basic package. We went with Patkin who quoted us less for way way more in the package.

We're using Jaylim. We met with about five photography companies before narrowing it down to two, and we negotiated A LOT with Jaylim and got what we feel was great price. There were also a few extras thrown in. They just took our engagement photos and they were amazing.
