Photographer

Hi Ladies,

I have an issue. I was planning on using a family friend as my photographer but now I think he wants to charge to much. I'm want to know how much you guys paid (or think is reasonable) and who are you using (because I might need to hire if they are available.)

I am using Patken (Vinnie) for $3200. which includes 3 parent albums as well as our album and some larger pics to be framed.

I have gotten 3 quotes so far, 2000, 3200, 4400! There is a wide range out there so the best thing is just to find someone that yuo are comfortable with and that you are confident will make your album wonderful.

You can alway save in other areas to make up the difference.

Hi! There are alot of great Photographers out there with decent prices. Here is Mine: www.silverfoxvideo.com
I don't have my contract in front of me so I'm not really sure of the price but I think I'm paying about $3,400 for just Photography.

DUET in Huntington. We got Photography and Video with all the stuff we wanted added on for $3750

total 38 (we are definatly going to upgrade this number after the wedding)

parents albums (2 albums)

total 12 (this will get upgraded after the wedding)

proofs will come in an album

we also get an engagement shoot and a free 8x10
all negatives after 1 year after album

I was quoted on the same package as WithThisRing but with a 3rd parent album for $3450. If I wanted the 'Soho' album (the digital one) it jumped up to $4850.

I was quoted a very similiar package as the above two ladies including the 3rd parent album for $3,600. Seems like pricing is arbitrary and it's really frustrating! Work those bargaining skills!

Definatly negotiate with Patken.

They are a house vendor of my hall so I got some money taken off. I also booked them 10 months ago.
