We just booked our reception hall and are moving on with the plans. I think we should get working on a photographer and DJ.
What are some questions you should ask them when you meet?

Well you definitely want to see their portfolio, find out what packages they offer and, perhaps most importantly, if they are available on the day you have selected.

Photographer: portfolio, if U get to keep proofs and/or negatives, if you are having your ceremony or reception in a 'unusual' place, (yacht), see if they have exp in that area; payment plans; insurance if there are problems with your pics; how many photgraphers work a wedding and of course, the obvious stuff. What do you get with whatever package you choose.
DJ: How many people work the weddings; is special lighting effects and/or giveaways included or extra, what is the over-time cost; payment plans and again if you are having the reception at an unusual place, what kind of insurance do they have.
