Has anyone used a photographer or photo journalist who did not provide you with an album? My girlfriend did this and had a gorgeous album made somewhere else. I thought all photographers provide albums.

Twelfth Night does that. You pay for their time and they give you all the proofs and the negatives, and will help you plan out the album if you like - even give you places to go.

I actually found a place that sells nice leather albums for cheap,( about 80 bucks) so you could definately assemble the album yoruself,

My family recently used Twelth night and her proofs are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! They do that.

I looked at about 10 photographers before deciding. I asked them all the same question, how much for just the proofs, it was only about $200-400 more to get the album. Maybe I didn't look at the places that offer that inexpensively, but I'm happy with DUET.

I am using Twefth Night Photography as well. Unless I opt for the magazine type album I will most likely be making my wedding albums or having someone else make them for me (for cheaper). Haven't decided just yet but Twelfth night takes all the pictures and gives you the negatives and proofs.

My girlfriend had an album made for her and it's gorgeous, very different. It's sort of like a scrapbook album but no stickers, lol. Very elegant, beautiful papers. I fell in love with it and I think I'm going to do the same, or at least do it with my candids. I can get the name of the company that made the album if anyone wants it.
