Photographer & dj on a budget

Aside from the actual venue, a photographer is one of the most important things to us!! but we're on a budget, and everywhere I've looked I'm getting quoted for somewhere between $3-5k & we're trying to spend just a little under that. Anyone know of any great photographers for under $3k ? I really love Fleur-de-less Photography but it's a little out of our price range. And as far as dj's go, I haven't heard back from anyone yet but what would be an average cost of one? I want a great dj but obviously want to keep it within our budget.

Gina Esposito was under $3,000. I think even some of her packages were under $2,000. She is very good and super sweet.

I recommend looking into North Island Photo and FM Entertainment. We're on a budget as well and venue, photo, and music were the 3 vendors most important to us.

I looked at Ruby Star before, loved her work but she wasn't available for the date we're booking our wedding. Although, we haven't booked yet so nothing is set it stone (I know I'm soooo slacking on booking a venue). I'll check out Gina Esposito & Fade to Black!. I really love Benchwerk, and their Lite Package is in our budget so I'm hoping we can go with them...although they book super fast and they've already filled up almost all of 2012 (except for the second weekend in Nov. and on) ugh.
I heard that North Island was sooo expensive? my aunt paid $5500 for them for her wedding this past summer. Do you know what their starting package was?.

Check out White Pear Photography. She does amazing work and should be able to work within your budget. HTH!

Benchwerk!!! Amazing work and great people!! Packages for photo are definitely in your price range and you can also customize your own package to meet your needs.

I'm loving all of these suggestions! I sent out a bunch of emails for prices and everything, so fingers crossed that some dates are available!!. And I sooooo love Benchwerk!

Try David Bridal new photo package, I got photo & Video for $2,900 for 8 hrs, @ 2 guys for photos, 1 guy and for video

I have an AMAZING photographer suggestion, but you won't be able to google her portfolio. Her name is Megan Haynes....and her pricing/packages/style are very similar (a little less expensive) to Gina Esposito's FM me for info.--in case Gina is booked. If she's not booked....DEF go with Gina!
