Photographer: DUET or IMAGINE

I am so torn and not sure who to pick. I heard great things about DUEt and IMAGINE. Please help. I know that IMAGINE does A LOT of weddings at FF where I am getting married.

I would go with Imagine because they know the FF well, and would know exactly where and how to take perfect pictures

i would us Imagine, especially if they know FF, Duet does great work too but I like Imagine just a little more.

they both do great work. have u met with them?

from what i remember u might have to book imagine for both photo and video so that might be something to consider (if that's the case).

We booked with Imagine because I *loved* the proofs I've seen on here, and I liked that they were a smaller company so I know Lia took the pictures I like since she does all of the photography. Plus, she has been to my hall many many times and knows a lot of great photos to take there.

Keep in mind that during peak season you will have to book her husband for video. We didn't mind because we didn't want an overly elaborate video so we went with the lowest video package and liked the samples we saw. If you're planning to go with someone separate for video, you'd be better off with Duet.

Is Duet the company where some of the photographers dont speak English? I might be getting confused, but it was important to me that I be able to speak freely with my photographer even though they really only need to be able to take good photos.

I've seen proofs from both and you cant really go wrong with either!

I had Duet and loved them. They were super nice and great on the wedding day.

I would DEF go with Imagine!! I also got married at FF and wanted them BUT they were booked! They do amazing work and really know the grounds at FF! GOOD LUCK!! I ended up going with Brett Mat t hews and I was VERY happy

Someone mentioned Imagine's video not being too elaborate...im not sure what elaborate means in terms of video, but don't be afraid of Nelson's video...we looked at a couple and i cried..it seemed pretty similar to any other type of wedding video I have seen! HTH!

dunno about duet...but my friend had hers done by imagine & they came out SICKKKKK!!!

I love Duet. I haven't had my wedding yet but out Epics came out amazing. Eric the owner is the only one that has a strong accent but he speaks and understands English. Most of the photographers speak perfect english. My photog is Jay and he is great.

We didn't meet with Imagine but used Duet. I haven't received the video or albums (yes, I've slacked) but we are very happy with our proofs and e-pics. Great work, very unobtrusive.

I've only heard good things about both companies, but if it were my decision, I'd go with Imagine. Take a look at missingthebgene's pictures - they are unbelievable!

We booked IMAGINE!!! I loved Lia, she made me feel really comfortable and I thought they was a little more personable since they are a smaller company. AIso knowing she would be the one at my wedding taking the pics made me feel relieved. Their video brought me to tears. They were great!!!
