So I was just reading another thread and saw that someone using Glenmar is paying $2500 for their photography package and I got a little upset because we are paying $5700 for our photo video package.

We are getting
10 hours
2 photographers
1 16x20
1 hand painted 11x14
2 8x10's
1 album any cover with 65 pics
2 parent albums
a high res disk with all proofs upon picking up our ready album

the engagement shoot with at their chosen place with 1 8x10

the documentary style dvd with intro and recap

I think I got everything down....Please let me know if you don't mind what you are getting and paying for it...if you don't mind...because for some reason I just got a little upset when I saw such a low number from another bride...If I am getting a lot I def do not mind, just need to ease my mind! Thanks ladies!!

P.S my date is July 29, 2012... Do you think that could be an upcharge...because everyone has told me in the past my 'peak season' date is costing me big time

hahaha you have the date we wanted!!!!! we're 8-3-2012 at the woodlands, but we wanted 7-29! i checked out glenmar but decided not to go with them, but it sounds like you're getting a lot in the photo package...it does sound a little high, but maybe thats because of the dvd?

Well that's why LIW doesn't like us posting prices. You are getting married in prime wedding season, this is a huge factor. I don't know who the other bride was but I wonder if her date was in the off season, maybe a daytime wedding.

the video and the intro/recap alone can add the extra cost to your package.

also, what is the hand painted picture? is that other person getting that too???

Im using Glenmar, getting some diff things than you but still getting alot. Seems only thing we dont have is 2 photograhers and the painted pic and we are paying alot less. Could be the season but not sure.

You are getting a lot in your pckg plus you have video where u saw the other price that was just photo. Everyone has dif things in their pckgs so unless you know what was included you cant really compare prices.
