Photographer Help!!!

Original post by IrishBrideASmiling

OK i really really need some help girls!! We visited with two photographers this week and we are having a hard time choosing between the two. I do not want to reveal their names just yet since I think that might change some peoples opinions, so here is what they are offering...

Photographer A is offering...
*10x10 album with 50 pages and 100 photographs
*4x6proofs
*1 16x20 or 11x14
*2 8x10 and 4 5x7
*50 Thank you cards
*two free parent albums which we do not want and do not need and he seemed unwilling to swap them out for something else
*Free engagement shoot in Central Park
*Web access for guests to view pics online and the option to order (which is something im gonna need)
*A 2 min. video of ceremony to play at reception before our grand entrance
*w/ video $5200

Photographer B is offering...
*50 images in a 8x12 or 12x12 album
*9 5x7
*2 8x10
*1 12x18
*100 Thank you cards (which is what we need)
proofs
*engagement shoot in studio with a 8x10
*no web access as of yet for guests to order pics but it may be coming this spring
BTW their picture quality is a little better than Photographer A
w/video $5295

Now do I save myself $100 or do I splurge and spend the $100 for better pictures?? I honestly never thought I would get Photographer B's price down that low.

ETA: Photographer B is giving us a photographer and photographers assistant, Photographer A only has one photographer.

Please help!!

go with quality if the price isn't much different.

so there's no web access for guests it says...does that mean you have web access? if you do, then who cares if the guests don't?

I dont have web access either. The reason I wanted it for the guests is because my mom is one of eight and they always take a pic together at every wedding with them and their husband/wife and I do not want 16 phone calls looking for a copy of the pic from the photographer. This way they can just see it and order it if they want. Oh yea and half of them are out of state.

aww that is a nice idea.. and that prob will happen hahaha

but you can do that on your own at shutterfly or something post some of the pics you think they might want and send them the address to check them out and they can order it through there

you should always go by quality and not quantity. So after I see your choices I think B is the better choice. Those will be your greatest memories

Honestly, and I hope this doesn't come out the wrong way, but it's $100. I waste more than that on any given week. Imagine not going for it and then kicking yourself over that little amount of money.

I AGREE
