Photographer help Needed!!!!

Hi Girls,

I need help!! My FH and I have looked at 4 photographers that the Fox Hollow recommends and are having a hard time choosing which one we like. The photographers that we saw were Cassarino studios, Pro-line, Sherwood Triart and ADA studios. We really liked ADA studios and what they had to offer. But we have heard alot of negatives about them. Has anyone heard good things about ADA studios or are considering using them too? Please help!!!

I booked with ADA and I know unapearla (Theresa) did too. I am not worried at all. They were offering exactly what we needed and a great price and we loved their pictures!!! Photo was the hardest thing for us to book. So I understand your apprehension. Good luck to you!

My cousin and my FH (for his 1st wedding) used ADA and they both had nothing but great things to say about them. Good luck in your search!!

Do you have to use one that Fox Hollow recommends?

I would recommend Franklin Square Photographers

my sister also used FS photo they were great and their photos were amazing. only thing is that they were pretty exspensive (she paid $9,000 for photo and video) and the cd you get u cannot use it except as a slideshow to view pics, the proofs are about wallet size in an album (there are on sheets so u cant frame them or copy or anything)and guests could view them online after the wedding but only about 40 pics. is u have any other questions about them u can FM and if I dont know i will ask me sister.

I would SO GO WITH FSP!! not only b/c we did but they are the BEST..... I love photography and the only comapies that came close to making me feel comfortable letting go of my camera were FSP and Sherwood Triart! Try and meet with the photographer ....the one who will be taking your pictures on the wedding day at these places...not just the sales person when you go there....it is a BIG difference!

I did not know about that CD issue... they did not mention that we could not use our CD for future pictures....

As for price, I have heard they are pricey compared to other photographers, but I would say for what we are getting in our package, it is on par with other vendors.

Also, we aren't doing video so we were able to spend the money on the photog....

yeah the cd thing stinks. my dad even tried to take it to one of the computer guys at his job and he said it had a major firewall on it that he could get into. but i can def. say her pics were gorgeous. they do an awesome job. my sis had a photojournalistic girl who was rather annoying....i dont remember her name......blonde hair......but again her pics were great!! i wish i could post some but i cant get them off the cd or anything.

I haven't met with any photographers yet.. but i did meet Anthony from ADA at Villa's showcase! His pics that he has there were beautiful and I really liked him.. we spoke to him there for over a half hour!

not sure if this can help with the CD but on the key board there is a button in the top right hand corner that says 'print screen/sysRq' if you pull up the pic you want and hit that button it some how saves it??? then go to your photo program or Paint and hit 'paste' it works most of the time, as it copies the page.....but as far as pro-line......for me they were 15 minutes late and the sales guy RAN threw is 'speech' ....when I asked him the questions I asked all 10 other photography companies he was the only one that was RUDE...i call my BM and let her know and she said they are getting a lot of these phone calls and will have to question where to recommend them??? Anyway......there is another photographer that I was really impressed with ...well at least the sales lady and how she tried to reassure me that I would connect with the photographer...it was patken (www.patken.com) GR8 STUFF ...they have a big studio that has different environments for the engagement photo......and we could have brought our dogs....if you need more e-mail me [email protected]

that stinks. i actually had the opposite experience with proline. i found them to be very accomdating and nice. the man we met with let us sit and just look at pics and bs for about 20 min before we talked seriously. then i had a page of about 30 questions that he happily answered. he didnt need to really give his 'speech' b/c i addressed everything. i had been through the same thing with my sis about a year ago so i knew everything i wanted to know and everything i wanted in my photographer. oh well...it's just a matter of opinion and how well people connect.
