photographer help please!

photographer help please!

We are still having problems choosing a photographer. We have narrowed it down to 2 but we think that we may want to look at a few additional places to compare a little more since we really didnt see too many that had a photojournalistic approach to our pics and that is what we want. Anyone using/used Imagine Studios? Their website looks really good. What about Twelfth Night or Duet? Are they expensive? I am so stressed over this. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help.

have you checked out Patken? They work the prices with you to meet your needs. we wanted those photojournalism shots but some places wanted us to pay for a second photographer! They do both. If you want more FM me

I used Mark Kauffman Studios and was very, very happy. You get 2 photographers and tons of proofs and a variety of film types as well (color, med. format, b&w, highspeed). His studio has been worth every penny we paid.

I am using Twelfth Night. I think that Dominic is awesome! I also liked his work the best out of all of the photographers we looked at. I don't think that he is expensive. I found him to be the most affordable.

Also, he even called me after he did a wedding at my hall, just to let me know where he took pictures and how everything went.

Good Luck to you!

edited to say: feel free to FM me if you have any other questions. And, I am meeting Dominic on Sunday to have E-pics done

Re: photographer help please!

we are using 12th night and dominick is awesome - i have seen tons of his work when whe was with other studios and now he has his own...he is very talented and easy to work with..plus reasonable $$-wise...if you have any other questions about him ,feel free to fm me....ultimately my best advice is for you both to follow your heart - who do you feel most comfortablewith and do you think will get along well with your families and bp??

good luck!

Re: photographer help please!

I just booked Queens Bridal, they gave me an excellent package and it was within my budget. I know some brides had problems with them, but to be honest I've heard problems with a lot of photographers.

we are using imagine. they are so amazing!!! once i saw them i knew that they were the only photographer for us. they have a great mix of traditional and photojournalism. we visited patken and i wanted more unique pictures than traditional. duet was too artsy for us but so nice and very reasonably priced. i highly recommend imagine. look of old threads of brides that used them and you will be so impressed!

I am using Imagine and we just love them!! Not only do they do amazing work but even their attitude was great!! We just hit it off with them and it seemed more like friends would be there with us on our wedding day not just another vendor. I think it is important to feel comfortable with all your vendors especially your photographer (who ever you choose to go with) because they will be with you the whole day and at some intimate moments too! If you need anymore info on imagine just let me know!

Re: photographer help please!

i am using visual concepts in islip..... they take the most amazing pics. they are a husband and wife team.. my friend had them for her wedding and th epics were beautiful. He does th ecolor pic and she does the BW photojournalism. They actually have been in magazines before for their work. They only take a certain amount of contracts a year. check out their website... www.visualconcepts.net..

And I'm not a vendor or anything like that. I just love their work and cant wait for them to do my wedding. im even having my teeth whitened so muy pics come out even better!
