Hi all!

I am beginning to start our hunt for a photographer and so far we have three with good reviews....

Duet

Patken

Lighthouse Photographers

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY FEEDBACK THAT WOULD BE HELPFUL FOR US? PRICES? SERVICE? ANYTHING WOULD HELP.

I only looked at one photographer and that was Fade to Black... Gil the owner was a delight to work with and I truly feel like I am an great hands!!

She works with TP also right? She did my epics. She was great to work with!

She used to work for Thomas Paul... now she is on her own.

We're using Lighthouse Photography!! I highly recommend them to everyone I know! Definately check out there website. I have some of our engagement pictures in my album. Their prices have changed a bit since we booked with them almost 10months ago & I do know they can work with any budget big or small!! & I hardly ever see a bad review about them! Meet with those 3 & see which your most comfortable with & whichever meets your budget.

We used Patken last month and were very happy with them. Jessie did a phenominal job, and we were allowed to choose her I'm not sure why others said they weren't but a few of my friends are using her also and they got to choose her too.

I wanted to make an appt with Duet i heard great thing but they were not available on my wedding date, totally booked :( they looked great. So i looked at proline studios and visual image photography in bklyn. next week i have an appt with lighthouse.
Visual image was recommended to me by a friend and when i saw her video and album i had to go see them. the work was beautiful and they do many LI weddings. my friend got married in chateau briand. Price was a lil higher but worth it!
Proline prices were great!! and work seemed very good! reviews are mixed though.
next is lighthouse which i also heard great thing about so lets see! ill let ya know

check out thomas paul- truly amazing!!! i have epics in my album and will be posting my wedding pictures once i get them back - but they are seriously an amazing company and worth looking at

I am using Patken. I am using Steve. I also chose him. They say that they will assign you based n your epics but they also said that we can pick someone and if they are available they will assign us to that photographer. Which is what we did.

Also with Patken I had a package and they did not have us wait until after the wedding to add things.

I have found with vendors you have to be assertive and tell them what you want and you usually will find that they will do it. They want your business not the other way around

Duet rocks!! I absoluetly love them & they have been awesome to work with so far- I also met with Lighthouse who had nice work- but i personally didn't have a great experience when I met with them...FM if you want details!
