Hey Ladies! I'm searching out photogs. Can you tell me what package you went with, who your chose, and how much it was costing? I got a recent quote of 4200 - is that alot??

Our package was $5000, but that was with a photographer and a photojournalist as well. Engagement shoot and 2 parent albums included. HTH

We're on a tight budget so we didn't get a big package. It's going to be $2,300 for...... - all day coverage with 1 photographer & an assistant - all pictures back on a high resolution disc -all proof back 4x6 -1 16'x20' portrait - thank you pictures -20 page album (a nice big leather one with silver boarders!)
We didn't sign the contract yet but I think we're getting a good deal & his picyures are really from what I've seen. We're making our decision by tomorrow because the weddings getting close & we should have had all this done months ago.

We're getting 2 photographers all day, no albums, all digital delivery with all rights, no watermarks, completely edited/retouched for $1500. I'll put the albums together myself on Blurb.com or something like that.

Im paying 1k for mine, and another 1k for video. Great work and for basic package, but we are making our own album, or we are going to send out our pictures to a company and have them make it. The album is the most expensive part.

Konrad Kolen Weddings. $2300- 2 photogs, unlimited coverage of day, unlimited photos (prob 800-1000), thank yous, 12 8x10, 1 16x20, retouched photos, digital negs (copyright is ours), 200 proofs, etc

I'm using Perceptions.
My package is about $3,300 with two photographers. We'll likely upgrade our album, though. Go meet with them - they have packages for most price ranges and do amazing work.

We're using 12th Night - it's about $2400 for 2 photographers all day and no albums included. they will give us all the proofs so we can choose to order our own albums online or use one of their companies - they said that would add about $800 to the price.

It also depends how far in advance you book your vendor. We got a 2006 price for a wedding in 2008
5000K but it included: photographer photojournalist videographer engagement shoot 16 x something canvas blowup 3 parent albums (FH parents divorced) 1 storybook album 100 thank you cards 3 dvd's all proofs....make sure you ask for the photo proofs on a disk too! Hope this helps!

I would say 4200 is a little high, but it depends on what is included- average is between 3000-5000
