Photographer Meeting
We are meeting with our first photographer on Tuesday night (Capture the Moment), and I'm so anxious/feel unprepared! Should I bring photos with me of poses/styling I like? Any specific questions to ask? Any help on how to approach this vendor would be great! Thanks!

You will love Jessica! I'm so happy I booked with CTM!it's great to have an idea of styles you like (formal portraits vs candid shots - every photog always asks that!) And make sure you get to look through her albums to see if she style matches yours.
I also asked in my meetings w photographers:
-who exactly will shoot my wedding? Can I see examples of their work?
-do you have backup equipment?
-what happens if the photographer breaks down, gets sick etc the day of?
-what's the turnaround time for my finished photos?
-have you shot at my venue before?

You don't have to bring anything with you, you're more looking to see if you like their style of work. Ask things like how many hours or coverage, what's the cost of overtime, albums, prints, rights to photos, timeline of proofs and albums, things like that. I think the knot has a good list of questions to ask, but most of them offer you all that info in a packet anyway and you can always email or call them later to ask any questions you think of. You'll love Jessica at capture the moment, she's so sweet.. She's doing our video :)

Definitely this! Once you decide on your photographer/videographer then you can discuss specific pics you may want the day of at your meeting prior to your special day. That is what we will be doing with ours.

Re: Photographer Meeting
The only questions I really had were regarding the timeline of the day since we're doing the first look pics prior to the ceremony. So I wanted to know when he was going to be at my house and how long the first look pics would take, etc.Other than that, we just chit chatted to get to know each other. How many weddings does he shoot in a year, how long has he been shooting, etc. And he brought some albums that he put together to give us a sense of his work.
FH wanted to know how many pics he typically shoots at a wedding and if we get all of them (retouched or not) and with or without watermark, and how long it takes to get the proofs, etc.
He also showed me three full weddings he shot...had the images on his computer. This helped me get an idea of the whole day from getting ready to the end.
We just wanted to make sure we clicked with him, since it's a significant amount of money and he's going to be with us for the whole day!
