We are having about 500 people at our wedding and I was wondering if it is imperative to have 2 photographers. The photographer that i am seriously considering can only bring an assistant. Do you girls think this will be adequate? TIA!
Honestly, I think with 500 people you would need two photographers and an assistant. With a wedding that size, there's a lot going on.
500 people! Oh my goodness. What a party that is going to be. I am having between 150 and 200 people and my photographer is sending 2 to our wedding. I would say that with that many people, you should get at least 2. If you have your heart set on that particular photog, ask him/her for their opinion. You'll be able to tell if he/she is trying to pull one over on you. Good luck!
I would only guess that (2) photographers and each with their own assistant for a party that size....that's alot fo people you know there. How many people are in the bridal party?
IMO you need two photographers. If the photographer you want can only bring an assitant what about hiring a photographer from another studio or hiring a photojournalist to cover the candids and have the one you're going with do the traditional shots?
