photographer question

How many photographers will be shooting your wedding? Some places I quoted have one regular and one to do photojournalism. Others just send on to do both. Also can anyone recommend someone?

We used TimeXposures and had one photographer and his lighting assistent. I would liked to have had two, but this turned out to be plenty.

Re: photographer question

My fiance and I are insistent on having 2 photographers. We saw a difference in terms of what was able to be shot especially during the ceremony. I would suggest going to a place that offers both (one place like this is Bill Fredericks Studios) and this way you can compare the styles side by side.

We are having two. Their style is photojournalistic, so the only reason why we're having two is to capture more angles in the church, to get pictures of us and pictures of the guests and to speed up the 'formals' which I hate but are necessary. We're also having a really long day (12 hours) so we're having one photographer frm 12:30pm (at my home) until 6:30pm (right before the CH starts) and then another from 3pm (ceremony start time) until 1am (end of reception). They'll overlap briefly and will hopefully get the shots we want. We're using Twelfth Night and definitely recommend them. We're paying a little over $2K and keep all proofs (over 1000) all negatives and all digital images are put on a CD set to music. No albums.

Good luck!

I'm using a traditional photographer, as well as a photojournalistic photographer. We are getting all proofs, all negatives, 50 picture album, parent album, engagement portrait, 16x20 pic, a few 8x10 pics, 100 thank yous. I'm using Dan Krieger and paying $3,400.
