Ok I am trying to book a photographer by next week.
Here are three questions
Do the photographers mind if you book a different videographer?
Do you prefer to have more than one photographer...I really like Patken but they dont suggest a second photographer so ????
How much are professional videographers...a range in price is fine. I know that at Patken they charged 1,500 but I dont know if I love their video work.
Help!!!!

I liked Amore Videos but it was convenient for me to book with my photographer.

I think 1500 or 1600 there were differnt packages but that was the one he recommended to me.

we met with Elite in hicksville we really like them their pic were beautiful and Patken FM for more info on that drama... we have an appt w/ Proline tomorrow, and Verdi on the 18th

I had a good experience with Patken. You can book a seperate videographer but typically if you go for a video/photo at one place they cut you a deal.
If you want to check out another person/place for photo and video i would go with Velvet Studios. I am still kinda upset that I didn't give Bob a second chance to come down i price in order to book with him. BUT we had a REALLY nice booking with Patken and i loved the work and i really wasn't 100% into having two photographers and a videographer running around at the wedding.

A lot of my friends used patken and even with only one photgrapher they captured all the most important moments....
I had a great experience with them and also heard great things about duet..

Do you mind sharing what Patken is giving you? I just feel like I should look at other places.
Having you seen any other edgy/sexy type photos at other places? i like the work that they do but I am sure that some photographeres can mirror it.

This is my breakdown: 1 20 x 20 (which i am trading in for other pics) 1 11x11 2 8 x 8 1 8 x 8 engagement 50 Thank You All proofs in album 10 x 10 Jorgensen Album (24 images plus a coupon added in for 8 additiona images for a total of 32 images)

Basic video w/ 3 dvd's $3910.50
Now this is a digital album but not the magazine style. I probably will add more pics in the album in the end ( approx 8 maybe dependin on price) and i want to purchased my raw video footage.

A little advice...Definitely ask if they don't mind an outside video guy. I had a problem with one vendor...I am having two photographers...a photojournalist and the photographer...Someplaces don't offer both as a package deal...I would say that a videographer may range from 1500 to 4000...Mine is costing me a bundle...but he is worth it!
