Photographer Question

Photographer Question

Is everyone having 1 or 2 photographers at their wedding? And is 2 is 1 a photojournalist??? Our photographer said we only need 1, but I think most people have 2......Thanks for the help- FH and I are not in agreement on this!

i am having 2. my photography studio is for 'photojournalism' though i think the 2nd photog is more the photojournalistic aspect. if that makes sense. they will get the more candid shots that the other photog might not be able to get.

I had 2 - Tom was my main photog, and he had a second, to capture different angles and more candid shots.

We're having only 1 photographer...our photographer suggests 2 if there will be more than 250 people, which we expect not to have

We're not worried about having only 1 photographer because we like his work and trust that he will take all the photos we need.

Having one photographer is perfectly fine. You don't need to have two. That being said, we are having 2 and yes, one is a photojournalist. It really depends on your budget if you can afford two.

I wanted two and our photographer said we have a small wedding party so we could get away with one but I said I wanted pictures from different angles and so we're going to get two.

I am using Artisan Photography and Media group.

I am having 2 photogs and 1 lighting assistant

we only booked one but got two and it gave us more of a variety but i think 1 would of been fine

i wanted 2, but frankly couldn't afford. but i have to say, he got just abotu everything i could have wanted anyway. the only negative was that there weren't as many candids... i think the second photographer woudl have been more photojournalistic in his approach, where my 1 guy had to be mroe traditional beucase you just have to have the posed shots with famiyl and that took time. . ,. . . but he did get the candids too, just not as many as he could have if that's all he had to do.

i also had a videographer through the same studio, so overall, i was very pleased.
