Photographer question
Re: Photographer question
We didn't give a list of must takes to our photographer because we wanted her just to capture everything. If your photographer is lenient (sp ?) you should be able to request who you want pics with. We did this with our aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides. We just spoke to our photographer a few weeks before and she told us when they should be there. You can also give your photographer a call to speak to them about your wishes this way you have a run down on when and where the additional pics will be taking place. This way you can let whoever you want included to be there at the allotted time.
Re: Photographer question
I would definitely make a list of must have posed photos. I used to shoot weddings and it was definitely a help when the couple had a list. Do not assume that the photographer will know that you definitely want a pic with your great aunt sally. They simply cannot know who everyone is... It is a good idea to give the list to a friend or relative, probably not in the bridal party, to run around and round everyone up. It is a huge help and will take a huge load off your shoulders... Also the photographer needs to focus on taking amazing pictures, not worrying about who is who and who should be there. As for the cousins and everything, if you have a ton that you want pics with I would wait until the reception to do pics with them. It can get very chaotic and stressful during formal photos so I would just do a shot at the cocktail hour or on the dance floor during the reception. Just have the band or DJ announce it. That's my advice. I hope it helps. Good luck!
