Of you ladies that booked your photographers - do you think its necessary to have 2 photographers there? Or, do you think one person taking pics is sufficient? Trying to decide if I want to spend an extra $1500 on a second photographer....

Re: Photographer Question
I got two because I like the idea of having both a traditional and a photojournalistic.

i myself got 2 b/c that's what Duet offered. i love the idea of it.
on the other hand, $1500 seems to be a lot! why not into zap shots from a Dj company? they're anywhere from $300 to $900 i believe and it is a photographer using a real camera and all.

Re: Photographer Question
We got two because its a big wedding. I also loved the idea of two different styles of photography... traditional and photojournalistic.

Re: Photographer Question
It really depends on the size of your wedding. If your not having a lot of people one photographer may be enough to capture everything for you.
I would say go with 2 but that is A LOT of money!

Re: Photographer Question
we got two because we're getting ready in separate places (my house and a hotel) so we both want pics.

Thanks ladies! Yeah, I thought $1500 was a bit much...so we shall see. Still have to look at a few more photographers though...

Re: Photographer Question
the lady i booked with automatically comes with 2 ((its her and her sister)) i like the idea becasue one of them might miss something at the reception and the other will capture it!

Re: Photographer Question
I have two. If your budget allows for it, I strongly suggest it. The different angles you will get on different shots will be will worth it. The more eyes, the better!

Re: Photographer Question
not necessary, but when so many offer two, why not take it. We got two for less then places offering us one... it made more sense for us

Re: Photographer Question
Mine came with 2....but when I was looking around it was something I wanted and asked about. I think it was Proline wanted an extra $1200 and that was something that turned me off.
I would try to negogiate that price. Tell them a lot of companies are including it in most of their packages. You might have some more bargaining power.

Re: Photographer Question
I got 2 because that was something that was very important to me. I always wanted pictures of FH getting ready and with his parents before the ceremony. But since you guys live so close to each other (I remember from a previous post) ask you photographer if they would stop by FH's house first then come to yours. FH's cousin is doing this since they both live in Deer Park.

Re: Photographer Question
We are getting 2 because I liked the idea of one photographer being with me getting ready, and one being with FH as he is getting ready. I was originally up in the air about it (leaning towards no) but we got a good price with 2, and as others have said, I like the idea of both the traditional and photojournalistic shots
