Photographer questions...

I'm calling to make appt.'s to meet with Photographers today....any questions you think I need to ask would be greatly appreciated.

Also, as far as photojournalisn goes, will I have to hire an additional photographer or can my photogrpaher just take some photojournalistic shots throughout the day?

Some offer a traditional and photojournalistic photographer. I honestly dont know if your regular photographer can do both successfully.
I dont know what questions to ask
Make sure you get your proofs (without watermark) or your negatives-getting duplicates made later may cost alot -this way if you want to have prints made you can at a cheaper price

for the photojournalist stuff.....we hired an extra person to do it....but, there also are photographers who specialize in photojournalism (will still do traditional shots)...the reason we went with 2 was we still wanted a lot traditional shots, plus we have a larger bridal party and we want great shots of everything!!!
things we asked about:
-'customizing' the different packages (like I needed 3 parent albums bc my parents are divorced)
-if you meet your actual photographer before the wedding and the day of do they come with an assistant?
-time frame, when they come/leave, how many locations
-if you get your originals....some places give you them (we get ours high quality digital on a cd), some you will always have to go back to them for reprints
-digital vs film, black and white vs color
-when you'll get your proofs, and if you're ordering albums, how long albums usually take to be made
-just remember, even though they give you all these packages, most places will work with you, try to get something in your budget, etc
