So on Saturday I am meeting with some photographers. What questions are important to ask? Any good tips? Anything negotitable?

Make sure you know what you want. Do you want parent albums? do you want an engagement shoot? Whats there turn around time? is retouching included?

If you just want your proofs on a CD make sure you ask how many or if all are high resolution, Know or have an estimate of how many photos you'd like taken, ask about the copyright (some have it included in your contract with other's you might have to pay)

How many pictures do they take?
How long do they spend 'posing' everyone? (This is important ify ou have a limited amount of time for pictures)
Do you get all the proofs? If so, are they given digitally?

find out what kind of cameras they use...it doesnt seem important but depending on the camera your picture quality will be totally different. Also will the photog be bringing an assistant...

How many proofs you will usually get, how much extra enlargements cost, especially if you're not getting the rights to your photos (will your CD of photos all have PROOF stamped across them?) Will you have 2 photogs? Will one go to you in the AM and other go to FH? Will you get to the pick the actual photographer or just what the Company assigns you? How many photos are included in your album and your parent albums?
