I got married 2 months ago. I haven't seen hide nor hair of my proofs.
I asked my photographer early last month and she said some pics would be available within the week.
Still nothing.
I just want to do my Thank You cards.
I think it is because I look so horrible that she is embarrassed to give me my proofs.
I am sad.

NO WAY could it be that you 'look so horrible' that she doesn't want you to see them!!!!!!! You looked beautiful on your day!
Just seems that your photog isn't being very professional - she said within the week and didn't deliver! You need to get on her asssss everyday until you get them. Did your contract say a certain amount of time to get the proofs by?

Awww don't you feel that way!! There is no way you look so awful - and your photographer is a professional, this would be the worst excuse she could have. She must be insanely busy -it is high wedding season. Please don't think it's you!!

Stop that! If she is a small company then maybe she has no help. She probably has been busy w/wedding season.

I know that could suck. With my photographer during busy seasons it will take about 3 months for pics to come back. I may just give my guest a quick thank card and explain to them I will send a more formal one once my wedding pics come in.

Do not do that!!!! Do you think FH would marry a horrible looking person? Or a horrible looking person could make such beautiful boys? NO, stop that!!!!! Go over your contract and see what it says about proofs, then give her a call and explain that you would like to do your Thank you cards. GL getting them, BTW you looked beautiful on your day!!!

OMG don't say that about yourself!!! From the pic in your album all I can see is a beautiful, glowing bride and I am sure your professional pics reflect that and your photographer can't wait to get them to you but is just really busy. Seriously... don't even think for a second that you don't have your pics because you looked bad..thats just not true!

don't get down on yourself just becuase your photographer isn't taking the job seriously.... the pics I saw of your wedding were wonderful.... everyone was so happy, and you looked gorgeous...
just start nagging them.... and if they're already past the contract deadline, remind them of that.... if it gets very ugly, threaten to file a BBB complaint.... but wait to use that threat, becuase your pics could be held hostage after that....

Please don't do that to yourself!! Call her, I'm sure as the others said she's been crazy busy -- not a good excuse, but don't go down that road of doubting yourself!
What a beautiful day you had with your beautiful family! Can't wait to see your pics!
