Photographer Reccomendations

HELP! I'm getting ready to start checking out photographers. There are SOOOOOOOOOO MANY to choose from! Any reccomendations? Who to go to? Who to stay away from?

Hi! I love mine - Michael Cody. His website is www.michaelcody.com. His style is photojournalistic and his pictures are gorgeous.

Also after looking at a few sites and maybe some articles, you should decide what kind of style you like (e.g., traditional, photojournalistic, etc). This will help narrow down your choices.

I'm booking Duet this weekend. They get great reviews on LIW. If you get a bunch of names, do a search and see what people are saying. You also have to meet with them. I met with 4.

I used Twelfth Night and want to say that they were wonderful. I have an album on here with some of my pics.

Duet also seems to be a popular choice for many ladies.

I would suggest, since there are SO many options, that you start with your budget and work from there. I had to be careful with money and that influenced my choice. IMO, there are excellent photographers for all budgets, and we looked at several that day.

Also, when you have a few in mind, do a search (the Bride's Review board will probably have lots of results) to get feedback. You will want to check out the work but the customer service as well.

Duet! But lots of 06 brides are using them, if you are interested, you better act quickly!

They have good prices for excellent work!

Laurie Studios.

I had 2 basic needs:

1. good quality
2. nice to deal with

There were many photogs who were only able to provide one or the other but not both. I thought that Laurie Studio filled both requirements so I recommend checking them out.

Check out Brett at www.hfcphotography.com for wedding photo rates and www.evercloud.com for his personal portfolio. I've seen him only mentioned once here so far but the ladies on the Knot have already started discovering him. I would have gone with him if I didn't want a photo/video package. His work is really beautiful!

Btw, we're going with Duet.
