Photographer Recommendation

I have made appts for the following photographers:
Sherwood Triart
Cassarino
********
Martone Brothers, Inc

Can anyone suggest some that are good and not that expensive? I don't want to spend 10K on my pics and video. I was told that is the going rate.

good grief. 10k is pretty high as far as I know.

my advice: check out the portfolios online of everyone you're considering, and make appointments with the ones you like....

I think even relatively expensive photographers/videographers such as imagine studios are under 7k..... hope this helps...

WOW!! THAT SEEMS LIKE AN AWFUL LOT. MY FH AND I ARE GETTING EVERYTHING WE WANTED FOR JUST UNDER 5K. HOWEVER, WE ARE NOT GETTING A VIDEO. WE JUST BOOKED PARK AVE. STUDIOS WITH BRIAN FOR 08/08/08!!! I HAVE TO DROP OFF HIS DEPOSIT TOMORROW MORNING :) GOOD LUCK!!! OH! WE ALSO LOOKED AT SPELMAN STUDIO AND JEFFREY STUDIO. BOTH WERE JUST AROUND 5K AS WELL. JEFFREY STUDIO HOWEVER HAS MORE TO OFFER. HOPE THIS INFO HELPS

I agree $10k is very high for photo/video!

ETA - You might check out Angelica Glass. Her packages start at around $3500 I think. I'd also look into Marianella Vera and Perceptions Photography.

I'm using Imagine Studios. My e-pics are in my profile. I can assure you I'm not paying $10K. I'm not using her for video, I'm using Wild Rose, and for both I'm spending about $8K.

I looked at Sherwood Triart as well and I was very impressed by them. My cousin used them for her wedding and her proofs were beautiful. I just clicked with Lia better.

I'm on a tight budget and just met with 4 photographers in the past month. I'm looking for a digital album, two parent albums, thank yous and 2 portraits.
Park Ave Studio - $5,000 for what I was looking for.
Duet - $3,500
T & T Studio (not a vendor on here but reasonably priced) - $3,300
Twelfth Night - $2,200 for day of pics and dvd with slide show of pics, with 2 photographers (one for 5 hours and the other for 8 hours). Albums are prices and sold separately. Love Dominic!
Will probably use Twelfth Night.

I can't say enough good things about Dave Robbins Photography. Great attitude and amazing photos. He's photojournalist style, which is what i wanted and his price was in my ballpark....around 3k+...not sure if his prices changed for the new year.

We are booked with Wedding Group One, they have a few locations. We are using theire Flushing location. But we know a few friend that have used them and we loved what they offered use. And we are paying $6000 for Photo & Video that includes 2 photographers and 1 videographer. You can see our engagement photos in my album. We used Don (photo) & Dave (video).
