PHOTOGRAPHERRRRR

So I have been to a few photographers and I have no clue who to use I want to scream because I just want that booked already =( I have been to Marco, Patken, Thomas Paul and Now I was just looking at imagine studios online and they look good too ughhh I need help

I saw 6 photographers before we booked one

You have to be comfortable with the photographer and get the most for your money. You also want to make sure their pictures are of a good quality.

Don't be shy if you want more in your package tell them. Be like if you can add this in then you will be at the top of my list.

Me and FH saw a few. Boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, I was losing my mind. I couldn't figure out what I was suppose to be looking for from each photographer. Everything looked the same!!

Finally, me and FH asked each other what we wanted out of our pics- did we want traditional, fun, edgy, etc.. When we figured this out we easily decided who we wanted. Do you know what kind of pic's you are looking for?

It can get overwhelming, just go with your gut and your budget...not to confuse you more but I booked Glenmar in Roslyn and they are great!

I like pictures that are like black and white with touches of colors I like I guess graphics i dont just want snapshots and I feel like when i look thru the albums thats what I am seeing =( IDK who to use My sister used patken and her pics came out beautiful but they didnt do that much with them but she also didnt have a digital book

Im in the same boat lady. We saw Kornfeld and liked them ... but am instead now going to see Duet and Imagine Studios. Ill be honest - I LOVE Duets work and this was after I was set with Kornfeld so you may want to check out their website. Great bang for your buck too! I think what makes me nervous about Imagine is its just them so if shes sick then what???

I booked with glenmar too and am very happy. I felt comfortable with them from the first meeting. Also, i got them to throw in a lot of extras which was nice!

I feel your pain we saw soooo many not counting the ones we got quotes from through email or on the phone

i loved patken because i just felt so comfortable there! all their work in done on site and and i just feel like they are so professional!! all the other photographers are great as well so its def a hard decision!

You definitely have to feel comfortable with your photographer. I loved Eddie. He was so fun yet so professional. Plus, his pictures are amazing. And the big thing was with his books....there is no seem in the middle. The pictures go clear across the pages. A few others we saw didnt have that. There was a very thin line, almost not there....but Eddie's was not there at all!! No line. I love that. Plus he is giving us so many DVDs with pictures and video.

Hey – it can all be so overwhelming!! I seriously researched 37 photographers– meaning based off of reviews via this website and judging by the work on websites. I took a week to hammer out all the details and solely focus on this task. I narrowed down my list to the top ten and then inquired about pricing and based on budgetary concerns and by how in love I was with the work, I narrowed it further to the top five. I honestly didn’t even have to go into the remaining top ten bc Fh and I found a photographer we loved upon our initial meetings. You will know when you meet the right one and above all the connection you establish with your photographer.
With that being said – I highly recommend Lighthouse Photography!! - I was first and foremost blown away by the quality of their work & the pricing was the icing on the cake + he has the perfect blend of traditional meets photojournalistic. Based on the albums I saw he really has a knack for capturing the couples personalities and he is very personable which is sooo important regarding the relationship between you and your vendors on your day. Ps. Thomas Paul and Imagine were on my list - They do great work!!

That was one of my hardest decisions. I went to 6 photographers before I decided. It's hard. but if you like htem all then you know they all will do a good job. So don't worry about picking one.

I met with 4 photographers before i found mine...it look forever..and i never had a good feeling about ANY of them until I finally met with who i am using...i just new as soon as i sat down and talked to them, that they were perfect

whatever you do, don't rush into picking a photographer. I met w/ only 3 photos when I got engaged and booked one on the spot. I sooo regret it now because I saw another photog company that delivers better photos, and offers more selections re: albums than the ones I went with.

So now I will be losing my deposit and have to cancel my contract because of hastiness!
