Photographers

Hello! I'm finally about to go look at some photographers. Has anyone had any experience with Dan Wagner, Renaissance (who Bart Stevens is sending all of his clients to now), Velvet Studio, or Jessica? I have no idea what I'm looking for. What normally comes in a package and whats the important stuff? TIA!

Hi-

We booked our videographer and photographer w/ Velvet studios. My FH and I really clicked w/ Carolina who is going to be our photographer. She's extremely pleasant and friendly.

We are getting a 2 dvds (fully edited) & and 1 unedited dvd.

Plus, we are getting 2 photographers (1 for the traditional and the other one for black and whites and the photojournalistic photo style) . As for the albums, we are getting an 11 x 11 photo album (w/ flush pages), 1 parent album, a couple of 5 x 7s, 8 x 10s, 20 x 24, 100 thank you cards, all the proofs and negatives, and the engagement shoot and photos.

I heard Dan Wagner is great and very reasonable.

I used Dan Wagner for my wedding. He did a great job, we were very happy with our proofs and his service so far!
Im still waiting on the album, I should be getting it soon. If you want to see some proofs I have them posted in my review, on the Bride's Review Board.

Dan is the one that I am leaning towards, I am meeting with him next week, so we shall see. How were his prices Soon2BMrsA? FM me if you want... Your pictures came out beautiful~ Also, did you have videographer too and if so, did you go with Rambling Rose? Thanks!

We are also using Velvet Studio. Bob was really willing to work with us to make a custom package that fit our needs.

They also have a really cool coffee table book/photo album that we loved.

My suggestion to you, getting married at the crescent, would be to check out Creative Compositions. they are fabulous and are GREAT at beach weddings.
Check out the website. We are using them for our big day!

Dan Wagner was my wedding photogrpaher and he was incredible!

Check out my review on the Bride's review board. there are a lot of pictures there too

I HIGHLY recommend Dan! not only a great photographer, but he is SO nice!

We looked at six different photographers and then we chose Spelman Studios. Christine is the owner and she is fabulous. Good luck!

I loved Dan Wagner's stuff from his site but never met with him, never got the time. I loved Soon2BeMrsA's pics. They were great! I also think that Dan Wagner has great pics on his site. I think he's a photography profss too. I don't know about the other ones tho. That's a difficult decision!
