I have been reading past posts about photographers. Who is everyone using? Also do most of you like black and white shots, and candid shots? I think I would perfer this over more posed shots. I am just curious who you are all using. I wanted to select a photographer a while ago, but things have been hectic and now I am ready to look. Thanks ladies...

I used Laurie Studio. My album is about 1/2 b&w candid and 1/2 color candid and 'artsy' posed (as opposed to traditional posed shots where everyone just stands there). I've posted about a zillion times raving about my experience, and also put a review on the vendor board. I was adamant about using a photographer rather than a photography studio, and wanted someone with an artistic approach, along with some photojournalism. If you do a search I'm sure you'll find what you need. Any questions, feel free to ask. : )
Good luck!

I am using Roy and Lynn from Mark Kauffman's studio. Some people have some negative things to say about Mark, but never his work. I have always had very good dealing with Mark so you should judge for yourself. You get 2 photographers and lots of proofs. He is on the expensive side but I feel the quality of work is worth it.

I'm using Imagine. We just had our engagement shoot this weekend at the beach and I think the pictures will come out great. Lia does half black and white and half color - Not many posed shots at all. She's great -

We're using Glenn Edwards
He works with whatever style you want to go with. And he was reasonably priced as well.
