Photographers

I have an appointment with Candid Like Life photographers on Thursday has anyone ever heard of them or using them? They are a vendor on here, also any other recommendations for photographers in Eastern Suffolk would be helpful. TIA

i've never heard of them...but if you do a search for them, you can find reviews from girls who have used/are using them.

does the photographer HAVE to be out in suffolk?
i would highly reccomend Thomas Paul but he's in Lindenhurst.

I just booked with Thomas Paul. Him and his work are just great

They are recommended by my RH, so they sent us a card, but I have not seen people discussing them here or otherwise heard of them.

The thing is that we don't have that much time to do these things and we are in Middle Island so thats a far drive..but maybe I will make an appt with them...hows there pricing?

I actually have an appointment at Candid Like Life tonight! I haven't heard too much about them, but what I have read seems to be good. They were recommended by my RH. I'll let you know how it goes!

Also, if you go under Vendors and then click Promotions, they have a coupon for a free engagment session and 8x10 photo...if you book with them by sometime next week. you can just print that up, if you decide to use them! HTH

I'm an idiot b/c apparently lindenhurst IS in suffolk... i don't drive so i thought we went to queens. shows how much attention i pay to things.

I thought his pricing was very reasonable especially with all the stuff he does for the engagement shoot and pictures.
he wound up being cheaper than everyone else we met with and we're getting more for our money.
the only people who were cheaper were ADA but we didnt get a good vibe from them.

his office is located in a residential home, but don't let that persuade you. he's amazing and very professional.

I just booked with Thomas Paul. Him and his work are just great

we LOOOOVE his work, and the fact that Tom is such a great guy definately helped with the choice. we sign our contract tomorrow

we booked patken. you can go to the studio in holtsville for an appointment. my epics are in my album if you would like to check them out.

ETA: I am not too familiar with that photographer. sorry

I have only heard of them through a postcard they sent to my house. There were very nice pics on the postcard though

I am from Brooklyn and I don't know if it is suffolk or nassau but we booked with velvet and it was a great price and we really got a long well with Bob. The office is by the Walt Whitman mall.

I went to both Jeffrey Studios and ADA. I thought Jeffreys was priced a bit high though his work looks great. Also with ADA I got a vibe too. Nice work I just found another photographer that had the whole package

well i went to Candid and they were very nice. their pics and video were beautiful and i felt very comfortable talking with kathy. their prices were a little higher than i thought they might be, although this was the first photographer we met with. so i can only base it on what others have told me they booked for, but with other companies.

i have to make some more appointments, hopefully in the next week and then i'll have more to go by. FM me if you have any other questions about them.
