Can you girls give me a rough idea of what we actually NEED in a photography package? I feel like every photographer we look at has a thousand things in their package, and it gets very confusing. I know for sure that we need, our album, and 2 parent albums....but beyond that....what do we actually need? I even saw a photographer that has a keychain album....yep....you heard it right.....

Something that was important to me was a high resolution cd of all my proofs, b/c then I can do what I want with my pics. If I want to do my own thank yous (which I don't), or do any enlargements I can

That is EXACTLY what i'm getting as well - i am capable of doing what I want with the pics!

That is EXACTLY what i'm getting as well - i am capable of doing what I want with the pics!
So, would you get all the proofs on DVD, or will some photographers give you the 4x6 as well. I just think it would be hard choosing pics, off of the computer.....

For me I was more concerned with their work than anything else. I personally didn't want the 'traditional' pictures. I was looking for someone with a creative eye that took beautiful pictures. I booked based on that...and then after that we worked out my package and what would be included! I also REALLY wanted my pics on CD, but my photographer will not do that. I still went with them b/c I felt the scarifice of not having that was worth it for their quality of work.
