I know there were a few posts about photographers. I was just wondering what some of you are getting as far as pricing for photography only, no video? What seems to be the average? I have a few appts this weekend and I just want to know what to expect.

at least 3-4 k if you want albums and some prints for about 8-12 hours

I agree. But I'd actually push the number a little higher to $3-5K. Of course that's with albums, parent albums, thank yous, proofs, cds, etc.

im getting the photographer for 9 hours, one album (no parents), all my proofs printed and on cd, an 11x11, 5x7's for the bridal party, 8x10's for the parents, and my thank yous (i think that's it)..and im paying less than 2500..

I met with 2 that were $2500 and 1 for $2100- they all included an album, proofs and thank yous and some enlargements. Just not parent albums. You can always book the smallest package and add on later- just make sure they'll honor the same prices later if you upgrade

What kind of album are they including w/ that? traditional or digital? You can FM if you don't want to post (I'm still not 100% decided on my photographer yet) Thanks
