Hey Ladies...now that I have a wedding date, I want to book a photographer. I like the photojournalistic and expressive styles, but I am not limited. I am open to everything. If anyone can FM me pricing info for diff companies and a particular camera person...I would appreciate it.

I really like Duet and Thomas Paul's work. Both fall into about the same price range: 4-5k photo and video depending on what you need.

i looked at the following:
12th Night: Loved their work, photojournalistic, the owner was amazing-closee second
Artisan: I was blown away at a showcase, but HIGHLY disappointed after my appointment..i know girls who are very happy with them though
Duval: very traditional
Patken: LOVE them..this is who we booked with

I used DejaVu Studios in Mineola and couldn't be happier with my photos. Each and every one came out amazing. They are so easy to work with and highly professional. Took every photo on my 'shot list' and more!!!
I don't have any photos scanned but they have plenty on their website.

I am using Modern Wedding Photography. Her work is amazing. She is mostly photojournalstic but does some traditional pics too. Def worth checking out her blog (www.modernweddingphotography.tv)

I third it! :) For the quality of work and the very personal experience with the photographer, Imagine is def one to look into! I would also search for other brides on here that used them and you'll see how great the photos are

I wanted to book with with North Island but they are not open on the day of my wedding, But Michael is great !!
I booked with J O V O N Photography, my best friend is using them and i loved her pictures. Check them out !!
