Can anyone suggest modern & contemporary wedding photographers that are reasonable?
Also, any new up & coming photographers that I should look at too?

I'm using 12th NIght Photography. They offer a la carte services so you can make it as reasonable (or unreasonable) as you'd like.

I just booked with Florio at Lighthouse Photography .... loved the work that they do, and soo accomodating and professional. Definately look at them!

There is a guy by the name of Stephen Grande Jr. (Check him out on facebook) who did some engagement shots for us and he is amazing. He used to work for Brett Matthews but is now doing his own thing

Patken! They have been really wonderful so far, their prices are fair, and they have modern and contemporary styles. We are so excited for them to shoot our wedding.

Her style is very comtemporary and cool.
She's a little pricy, but (in my opinion worth every penny) She's also been great to work with.... she gets back to emails super quick and makes you feel like she's genuinly excited to be part of you wedding!

Oooh this was HUGE for me... I obsessed for weeks trying to find THE photographer... I wanted to go with Brett Matthews, but they were really pricey - I mean they offer very basics for the $...I was pretty distraught about this, so I kept searching for that contemporary/photojournalistic/innovative photog.. I came accross Steve L Romero. FH and I met with him, we like what we saw in his office..his canvas didn't look like they do at the old fashioned studios... his albums were pretty too..We liked his energy and attitude, he's open to ideas you have, he wants you to be happy and not worry... He's mainly candid, journalistic, but he works in posed pix also... FH was sick of me poundind the whole photog issue lol, so we went with him... I did get a referal, and the girl got married at CHCC in July...she said he was great to work with...

Check out White Pear Photography. Liz is the owner/photograper and she's amazing to work with! I knew 5 minutes into our meeting that I wanted to book with her. Her style is exactly what I was looking for, romantic and artsy!

I don't know if you've booked yet, but I just booked Lovemore photo. Areck and Ilona are the photographers and they were adorable and know what they're doing. The prices are not astronomical either!
