PHOTOGRAPHERS! (and a word of thanks)

First off, I want to thank all the brides that FMed me and posted messages of sympathy to my situation regarding planning an out-of-town wedding while attending school. I've decided to take the advice given and will do searches over the internet using you guys as my guides. My sister has agreed to personally go and check out the photographers I want (she's the best).

I'm looking for a photographer who will do both tradtional and photojournalim. FI wants a few posed pic (standard-wedding party, families, bride in groom) but I want lots of candids. We also want color and B/W. Our budget is about 4000 MAX.

Please oh please oh please.... give me some great names and reviews (FM me the bad ones- I need to know who to avoid). And again, thanks - you are all so wonderful and I'm so glad I found this website.

We had what you mentioned for under $4000, but our albums are small (by choice, not just to save money-30 pictures for us, 16 for parents)
They were great to work with. I have not seen proofs yet though.

Try Perceptions --they definitely have packages in the $4000 range. Good luck!!

We're using Patken. Tell them what your budget is,and they will work around it. Ask for Doug. He's the owner.Patken
