I was wondering if anyone can tell me about a dj or photographer that is great but gives you more bang for the buck. I have been browsing around on websites but I don't want to go to 100 places. If you have any reccomendations, I would really appreciate a response

Re: Photographers and DJ
You should DEFINITELY check out FM Entertainment! It's a great family owned business and Frank is great! They have amazing prices and packages.
You should also check out DUET for photography and video. They have a very artistic style but also can do more of a traditional feel. They also have great pricing and packages!
FM in you need more info on them.
Good luck!

Re: Photographers and DJ
I used Dan and Pat from Golden Moments. They are awesome. Then I used In the Mix which is housed in the same building. These guys know each other and worked great together at my wedding. I used jack as my MC. I think he owns in the mix. Good Luck
You cant go wrong with them. You can use my name and wedding date, it might help.
She is a real artist and we got such beautiful shots. Our slideshow is still up on her site: click slideshows and we are Elizabeth & Mike.
You said bang for your buck, but just a word of caution-- you can get all the shots, cards, etc in the world, but I think quality is much more important than quantity. There are a lot of places out there where it seems like you are getting a lot, but in the end the quality isn't there. Take your time in making this choice. Photos and video are all you have left to supplement your memories in terms of the tangible after your day has ended.
Good luck!

Re: Photographers and DJ
We're using Tommy's Tunes DJ-they're a vendor here but I had heard about them from many of my friends before I even knew about iweddings and they loved them-one of my older friends with very discerning taste used them for both her son and daughter's weddings. :) We are using North Island Photography. Michael, the owner and photographer, really loves what he does and it shows in his work... he really captures the emotions and his work stands out. HTH!

Re: Photographers and DJ
For DJ, I booked FM because they gave the most for my money and I really liked Mike, but High Voltage is pretty close in price. Also, I met Tommy Tunes at the expo on Monday and they seemed really nice.
Photographers I'm still looking at but frontrunners are Twelfth Night--love their work and brides on here give them fab reviews, just have not been able to schedule an appt .
Mantas Wright --they have shot a lot for Modern Bride and have won a lot of wedding pic awards. Love them, but a little above our budget...
Eauphoto-- like her use of color
and quite a few others--photos are giving me the most stress!
You should do a search on the ones you're interested in to get reviews
