Photographers and Music

Hello brides,
Let me introduce myself, I recently got engaged on Nov. 21 on the beach in Costa Rica and I need help. First of all I'm over moon about marrying my boyfriend. Any recommendations for a photographer and music for my wedding at the Woodlands. Secondly, I have summers off and the wedding is in August. Yes a bit soon but thats the best I could do.

first, congrats!

second, are you doing a band or a dj

for a band i recommend, heart and soul or daybreaks night, both are frankline wayne bands

for a dj i recommend Long Island Sound, they are terrific!

for photographer, i am using Duet- I searched and went to 12 photographers, not including the ones i spoke to on the phone... they have amazing albums, reasonably priced, very popular on LIW boards (however, this does not always make a vendor good- i know that)

Other photographers that I hear are good, but i did not see are Twelfth Night, Christine Bohn

We are using duet for photography and Bravura for our DJ.
We are going to Costa Rica for our honeymoon- how was it?

I am using Music by Micheal for a DJ, he was so nice. I have heard nothing but, wonderful reviews about him.

I'll second Heart and Soul and Daysbreak Night. As for a Photographer I'm using Artisan. Let me know if you want more info.

All the girls on here have great recommendations. Try to meet with a few DJs and photogs to see which one really meshes well with what you are trying to create at your wedding. I am going with Duet for the photog/videographer.

Sorry for the late reply, but i still don't know exactly how to use this website. Thank you so much for all your referrals. It is greatly appreciated.
I have a ton of appts this weekend and next.
As per Costa Rica honeymoon, We stayed in Tamarindo and the place where he went to the wedding was Cala Luna- It was gorgeous. It feels like a piece of heaven and there is a honeymoon villa. It is still Third world there so be prepared to be very relaxed, casual and you live in your swimwear. I would do the canopy tours and take a surf lesson. Pura Vida!

Congratulations to you!!!!

As far as a band 2 of my friends used the ProjeKt and they were great. I pesonally wanted a DJ so I went with a friend of mine who has been in the business for over 10 years. They are called Feel The Vibe.

As far as photography is concerned I decided to book Pro Line. I was going to meet with Duet but I decided not to due to they have only been in business for 2-3 years and to my understanding there was a bit of a language barrier

Congrats!! For Photographer & Video- I am using Patken. They are really good and there pics are unique. My sister had them for her wedding and they were so great and helpful the day of.

For Djay - I am using Festive Productions - My Emcee is a family friend. He gets the party started, let me know if you need more info, he used to DJ at Jimmy's Bronx Cafe.
