NO idea where to begin looking for a photographer. - Has anyone had experience w/ any of the following ?

Any ideas/suggestions are GREATLY appreciated !! We're willing to spend a little more for our photographer, and are looking for someone who will do photojournalistic/black & white as well as the traditional portraits. - Thanks again !!

I'm using Proline Studios in Huntington. My friend used them for her wedding and her album came out great.

I went to see Perceptions and I loved his work. Very creative and true photojournalistic style. Worth the $$$ in my opinion. But I didn't get to see alot of his color work. According to the receptionist, he just starting to add in more color work. Definitely worth checking out.

We used Leli Photography in St. James and were very happy with them. They did the video too.

I know 2 or 3 people who had problems with Jovon -getting their albums done, MANY photos not taken, they felt that their albums were produced slower than others when they didn't want to add a lot of extra photos.

JoVon has excellent photojournalists. my friend used Lynn and I am using her as well. she is a little more expensive than the other photogs there but so worth it. The black and white is gorgeous. my friend got her album when they told her she would and she had no problem at all. Andrea is the person i met with there and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. Good luck.

We didn't meet with Perceptions, because we had already booked North Island when I received his info, but his pictures were amazing, and from what I hear Anthony is very nice, and easy to work with. Out of the photographers you mentioned, I would suggest you take a look at Perceptions if you are looking for great photojournalistic work.

We are using Infinity Photography. They have a main office in Brooklyn but they also have an office space in New Jersey and Howard Beach in Queens. Good Luck!
If you have any Q. FM me anytime. For the price and what you can't get in the packages I thought it was a awesome deal. They are so flexible with anything you could ask for or want. I even changes some terms on the legal info on the contract. The prices are 700 more for 2004, per package. Give them a call and ask for Nicole.

Did you book Perceptions, date twin?
I was there Saturday & Anthony said he was booked for my date, but Geraldine could do it.
I don't think I'm booking with them though b/c Geraldine is on maternity leave & I wouldn't get to meet her untill after April.
